We offer all prospective customers a consultation. This is an integral part of our process in which we learn more about your needs while viewing the layout and structure of your property. This comprehensive approach allows us to present the best options to you.

At Climate & Plumbing, our goal is to help people by improving their indoor environment. We view ourselves as educators and advisors. As such, we are happy to share our knowledge with you – whether or not you decide to purchase one of our systems.

We take a very soft approach when it comes to our sales process. From your initial contact with us and throughout the quotation process, you will never feel pushed or pressured to make a decision. We’ll present you with your customised options and pricing in a clear, straightforward manner so that you can make an informed decision.

Scheduling the consultation

You may phone us (06 769 6410), use the contact form to the right, or visit our showroom to request your consultation. Once we learn a little about your needs, we’ll schedule the consultation at a time that is convenient for both you and a member of our team.

During the consultation

The consultation usually takes around 30 minutes. During this time we will gain an understanding of your heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, gasfitting and drainage needs. If the consultation is for an existing home or business, our expert will meet you at the property. For new builds, the consultation can take place at your architect’s studio or our showroom.

Some of our customers already know the exact system they’d like installed. In these cases, we still need to visit your property to assess installation logistics, building structure, sizing for the system, quality of existing insulation, existing systems, etc.

On the day of the consultation, we may offer some immediate recommendations and explain why these options would work for you. In addition, we will point out any remedies that you could do yourself to improve your indoor conditions.

Your customised recommendations and quote

There are many different options available and each one can be customised to perfectly suit your needs. By getting a better understanding of your environment and requirements, we can give you sound advice on the system that will provide the best and most cost-effective results.

We will discuss any immediate recommendations that day and explain why these options would work for you. In addition, we will point out any remedies you can do yourself to improve your indoor climate conditions.

Within one week, we will send you a written recommendation about the type of system or systems that would best suit your property. Pricing for the system and installation will also be included.
